Tennis
Tennis is extremely popular and successful at Dulwich College. It is predominantly played in the summer term, however pre-season training begins before Easter with some our squad players taking part in an annual four-day overseas tour to Cyprus. Squads train throughout the summer term 2-3 times a week at Dulwich College and Old College Tennis Club with LTA accredited coaches.
Fixtures are run for all year groups (Year 3 to Year 13) with well over 100 boys competitively representing the College each year and many more playing on a recreational basis. The Senior School season includes two weekends of competitive tennis in the Independent School League and throughout the season, boys compete regularly in a league against the top schools in and around Surrey. These are supplemented by weekly friendly fixtures and tournaments including the Eton Pairs, Aegon Team Tennis Schools National Cup, and the Independent Schools’ Tennis Association Championships.
