Football

Football is a popular and thriving sport among Dulwich College boys. It is the main sport played in the Lent term, and every boy has the opportunity to play. They also have the option to play in the Michaelmas term as they progress through the College. One of the great strengths of football at the College is the depth of involvement at all levels. We have an extensive group of well-trained staff who run over 50 teams across the school.

Fixtures are played in the Junior School from Year 3 and then through the College to the Upper School. During the term, squad footballers enjoy a busy schedule, playing school teams from all over the South of England. In addition to their Games sessions, boys also have the opportunity to train during the week.

The 1st XI enters a number of cup competitions, and in recent years the College has won the Trinity and London Cups and has been National Lent Term six-a-side champions. In addition, in the Michaelmas Term we enter the Independent Schools Football Association National Cup Competitions at Year 8, Year 10 and at the 1st XI Level.
