Fencing

Fencing has been a sport at Dulwich for many years and operates in the Trevor Bailey Sports Ground in all three terms.

The number of boys accessing the Fencing Club has increased in recent years and as a result has achieved notable successes in school matches, as well as County and National Competitions. The club caters for beginners and for experienced fencers of any year group and the club is under the tuition of a professional coach, Marco Paolo Cuomo, a former Italian Fencing International, who teaches all three weapons.  All necessary kit is provided (fencers can purchase their own as they progress if they wish) and checked for safety:  modern scoring equipment is available and regularly used.

Fencers are encouraged to enter outside competitions as their abilities progress and they do so with great success.
