After an unbeaten run into the tournament, the boys were excited to finally reach the finals and see what they could do. In the group stages, they won 4–3 against Eltham and 4–2 against Manchester to top the group.

After 44 fiercely contested competitions throughout the past academic year, the race for the Steve Hoyle Shield - awarded to the overall Upper School House champions - concluded recently, with Sidney House emerging triumphant.

Dulwich College recently hosted the annual DC8 cricket tournament, with 8 teams competing, hoping to be crowned the eventual winners.  

Senior school students enjoyed a highly successful ski trip to Les Deux Alpes, France over the Easter holidays.

Over the Easter break, our Year 10, Year 11 and Upper School rowers travelled to Zagreb, Spain for the first time to train at a high-performance rowing centre. Blessed with 18-degree sunshine throughout the week, the squad trained up to three times a day in outstanding conditions.

Our Junior School pupils recently enjoyed an unforgettable ski trip to Les Deux Alpes in Isère, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France.

Over 160 racers from 20 different schools made their way to the Herne Hill Velodrome for this year’s Inter-Schools Cycling Championship.  

The U18 Water Polo team delivered an outstanding series of performances, culminating in a historic victory at the Schools’ Water Polo League Final at QE Barnet.

The LISBA season came to a close in March this year, with Dulwich College hosting all four playoff tournaments. The London Independent Schools Basketball Association (LISBA) is the long-established basketball competition for independent schools in London and the surrounding region. 

What a fantastic term it’s been for Sport! We’ve seen progress across all activities, as well as some impressive wins.  Our pupils have demonstrated resilience, commitment and competitive flair.

Over February half term, our J15 rowers travelled to Seville for the first time to train at a high-performance rowing centre. With 18-degree sunshine persevering throughout the week, the squad was lucky to be able to train up to twice a day in outstanding conditions. They made the most of an environment that is widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading winter training bases. 

Congratulations to our Under 14 hockey team who have qualified for the National Finals of the England Hockey Tier 2 competition.

During February half-term, students and staff headed to Grandvalira in Andorra for a fantastic week of skiing. Boys were grouped by skill level and spent the week exploring the vast terrain, helped by the best snow conditions in the area in years!

A team of four Dulwich College chess players recently participated in a qualifier for the British Team Chess Challenge (BTCC), hosted by Sevenoaks school. In each qualifier across the country, only the winning team of the tournament qualifies, and ‘Dulwich A’ was ready to do just that. 

On Saturday 24th January our top sixteen ski racers embarked to this season’s National Championships in Wengen, Switzerland. The way these students combine training, parallel slalom racing, giant slalom racing, slalom racing, skis preparation and their daily academic work never fails to impress.
