Congratulations to Dulwich College Year 13 athletes Alex Jack and Charlie Wood on their fantastic runs at the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run on Sunday 25 February.
At the London Cross Country Championships 2024 Dulwich College students from all age groups excelled within the grim backdrop of an extremely wet Wormwood Scrubs.
During the February half-term break, 22 students from Year 11 and 12, accompanied by three staff members, ventured to Flachau in the Ski Amadé region in Austria. Split into groups by skill level, and lead by instructors, they enjoyed a week exploring the diverse terrain. Conditions were generally excellent and a snowfall of fresh powder on the Sunday evening ensured a brilliant week in the resort.
In what turned out to be a great afternoon for OAAFC, both the second and first teams won their respective cup competitions, albeit in somewhat contrasting fashions.
On the afternoon of Monday 5 February the Sports Hall was taken over by Year 2 footballers, their coaches and enthusiastic spectators. DUCKS, Herne Hill School, Finton House, Rosemead Preparatory School, Alleyn's and Dulwich Village Infants School, were the participating schools.
A successful set of races for the Dulwich College ski racing team at the British Schoolboys Championships in Wengen, Switzerland this week.
In the final week of the Michaelmas term, 31 rowers from Years 11 to 13 travelled to Sevilla, Spain for training before the Andalusian Rowing Championships. They arrived after an early flight and got straight out on to the water.
On 12 December 30 pupils and four staff set out for our annual ski racing camp in Jasper, Canada. After a day each of giant slalom and slalom training, on day three we got the racing underway with the Dual Slalom.
In 2023, Rugby Union celebrated its 200 year anniversary, the World Cup was played in France at the start of the Michaelmas term and the Dulwich teams enjoyed many of their own successes and memorable experiences.
Dulwich College has again been listed as one of The Cricketer magazine’s Top 100 Cricket Senior Schools in the UK. This follows an exhaustive selection process from a high number of entries across both state-funded and private establishments.
Leaving at the start of half-term on Friday 20 October, the U15A rugby squad travelled to Langley School near Norwich to compete against 13 other schools in the prestigious Heritage U15 National Rugby Festival.
On the final weekend of first half term, the First XV rugby team travelled to the prestigious St Joseph's Festival to compete against some of the toughest teams from around the country.
