Ross Mackenzie author visit with his book THE UNINVITED

We were thrilled to have the prizewinning and bestselling author Ross Mackenzie visit Dulwich College with his new book THE UNINVITED.  What a fabulous visit – many of the children were familiar with his previous books and there was a real buzz of excitement as he came on stage.  He did not disappoint; having told us why he fell in love with reading and determined to become a writer from the age of 9 – Ross read aloud to a spellbound audience – two (quite) long passages from his book. Not a child wriggled or whispered. Everyone was transfixed.

His presentation was super, and there was a little time at the end for a few questions from fans.  We are incredibly lucky to have an author of this calibre to visit and so pleased to have Year 6 from Dulwich Wood school join us . The Year 6 librarians were thrilled to meet Ross and press him on his next book.  A memorable visit for all.
