GCSE Results 2024

GCSE Results 2024

We are delighted to report that our Year 11 pupils have achieved excellent GCSE results with 44% of the grades achieved at the highest level (Grade 9) and 91% of grades are Grade 7 and above. 63 pupils achieved all 9 or 8 grades.

In addition to the success of the many who can now see themselves as academic high-flyers, ready for the challenges of A level study, there are also many individual stories of pupils overcoming adversity to achieve personal success which give everyone at the College deep satisfaction. Our boarding community should also be congratulated for an exceptional set of results.

Andrew Threadgould, Deputy Master Academic, writes:
“I know our pupils and their parents would wish me to thank all their teachers and to draw particular attention to the work of those who led the Year Group so well through the course of the last year: Sameer Tanna, Head of Middle School, his Deputy Head of School, Mr Faiers, and the pupils’ Year Head, Mrs Crawford.”

Sameer Tanna, Head of Middle School, writes:
“We are all delighted to see our pupils’ efforts rightly rewarded in today’s results which are testament to the hard work of both pupils and teachers, and to the constant support of their families over the past three years. We look forward to welcoming our pupils back into the Upper School next week, with great confidence.”
