Dulwich hosts overseas colleagues

On Tuesday 29 April, Dulwich College had the pleasure of hosting the Blue Sky event, welcoming distinguished colleagues from across the Dulwich family and associated schools.

The day commenced with a warm welcome and coffee in the Masters’ Library, led by Fiona Angel, Acting Master.

Guests then enjoyed a fascinating tour of the College and its archives, expertly guided by Peter Jolly, Archives Projects, and Freddie Witts, Archivist. This was followed by a lively session highlighting the breadth and depth of our co-curricular provision, led by pupil representatives and Jacques Brown, Union President, alongside a presentation by Jenny Stanley, Assistant Head External, showcasing the College’s impactful partnership work with the local community.

Following a superb lunch in the Masters' Library, visiting Heads delivered a series of masterclasses, sharing innovative practices on topics such as regenerative education, future curriculum design, and leadership development.

In the afternoon, guests experienced a dynamic learning walk through creative, science, and sporting activities before attending presentations that demonstrated how staff passions help shape and enhance the pupil experience. Insights into university counselling and careers guidance concluded the formal programme.

The day closed with a celebratory reception featuring cake and champagne. During this gathering, Nick Magnus was awarded a Fellowship in recognition of his outstanding contribution as Founding Head of Dulwich College Singapore, ahead of his next chapter in Kenya.
