As part of the programme for Mental Health Awareness Week, Nick Brown and Phil Greenaway were delighted to welcome a panel of experts to explore the links between a healthy body and a healthy mind. We were privileged to be joined by Dr Josephine Perry, Matt Lovell and Will Fraser OA.
Dr Josephine Perry is a leading sports and performance psychologist who helps teach the skills needed to excel, whether in sport or other aspects of life. Matt Lovell is a world-leading nutritionist and wellbeing expert who has worked at the top end of elite sport for over 20 years, including being part of the back-room team that lead England to World Cup victory in 2003. Will Fraser OA had a wonderful rugby career playing for Saracens and England A. He successfully pursued his dream of winning both the Premiership and European Cup, before being forced into early retirement due to injury. Will has continued to be successful since finishing his rugby career and has set up his own company, 100andfirst, where he uses the power of real-life experiences to drive change.
The discussion was interesting, entertaining and informative with many practical examples of things we can do to help improve our wellbeing. A recording of the webinar is available to watch here.
