Liberal Studies

In addition to the A level and A level Plus courses, students take two Liberal Studies courses in each of the Remove (Year 12) and the 6th form (Year 13).

These courses are designed to give breadth to students’ academic experience, to pique their curiosity, and to allow them to explore areas of knowledge which either complement examined courses or cover topics in unrelated areas which may interest them. The courses are rigorous, but unexamined and are run in co-operation with JAGS (James Allen’s Girls’ School), with students from both schools in each class; some courses are taught at JAGS and others at Dulwich College.
