Outings and Expeditions

Life at Dulwich College does not stop at the end of the school day. Boys from all years take part in an enormous number of trips and outings. Some, such as theatre visits, are evening activities while others take place at the weekends or during the holidays. A typical half term programme might include a rowing camp, a debating competition, a Duke of Edinburgh Award training week in Wales, a few days in Paris brushing up on French and a weekend playing rugby at the most prestigious tournament in the country.

The holidays are, if anything, even busier, with annual events such as watersports, sailing, the ever-popular battlefields trip, skiing and language exchanges as well as Duke of Edinburgh's Award and World Challenge expeditions, drama and music tours, art appreciation visits, sports tours, CCF and Scout training weekends and many more.

Dulwich College prepares the boys for an active and adventurous life in the world at large.  Our many activities within and beyond the grounds contribute significantly to that goal.
