Drama

"I’m still on a high from the creativity and talent that abounds in the Edward Alleyn Theatre; it oozes from every nook and cranny and from every person connected to it." Lesley Sharp | BAFTA - and Olivier-nominated actress and winner of Screen Actors Guild and Royal Television Society awards

Dulwich College was founded by the leading actor Edward Alleyn who, through his association with Philip Henslowe and Christopher Marlowe, ignited the theatres on Bankside with thrilling and groundbreaking plays. In the continued spirit of invention and daring, drama is still at the heart of College life.

"I was most struck by the vibrancy and shared endeavour that the active and progressive theatre community at Dulwich College contributes to the life, education and socialisation of these young minds." Tess Duignan | Guest Voice Coach at RSC and Head of Voice at Rose Bruford College

"Dulwich College's renowned drama department." The Sunday Telepgraph
