The Alleyn Club has a tremendous history of philanthropy and each year makes grants to support the College, including:
- Academic prizes
- Capital projects such as for The Laboratory (2013) and the outfitting of the Careers Library (2009)
The Fund provides interest-free loans to OAs hoping to gain a post-graduate degree or other qualification, and to College leavers embarking immediately on a career-related course of study. Assistance is normally, and in most cases only, in respect of part of the overall cost. The timing of loan repayments is negotiable but is intended not to be onerous.

The Hollington Youth Centre (HYC), founded by the College in 1893, is based in Camberwell and open five nights a week for young people aged between 8 and 25. The Centre aims to create a safe environment for young people to socialise, enjoy positive experiences and facilitate self-awareness, thereby helping them to identify their strengths and weaknesses and achieve personal targets. This initiative of AH Gilkes, Master in 1885, today depends on the generosity of benefactors.
