OA Consultation

April 2022 - Consultation feedback document

The Committee has been running a consultation process on proposed changes to the Alleyn Club Rules. This consultation period has now closed, and I wanted to extend my gratitude to all those OAs who took the time to write in with comments on the proposals and provide suggestions for further changes to the Rules.

I was pleased to see during the drop-in sessions that we were joined online by a number of OAs both from the UK and abroad, who took the opportunity to express their views.

Below is a summary of the consultation findings and details of actions we have taken.

Please look out for a notice of SGM which we expect to hold in early May.

Best wishes,

Nick Rundle
President of the Alleyn Club

 Consultation Feedback - April 2022

____________________________________________

Alleyn Club consultation for Rule changes to be proposed at an SGM in Spring 2022

Acting on the feedback from the November 2021 AGM, the Committee are opening a consultation for members to feedback on proposed changes to the Alleyn Club rules.

The overriding objective is to continue to strengthen and evolve the role of the organisation for the benefit of all its Members.

On this page you will find detail on the background and drivers for making the changes, followed by a breakdown of the four main areas of change, where you can drill into the detailed rationale behind the change.

There are three documents for your reference:
1. The Current Rules
2. A clean copy of the Proposed Rules if they are adopted in full
3. A tracked changes copy highlighting the amendments of the current to proposed rules

Feedback from members is most welcome, so you can email oa-consultation@dulwich.org.uk  with any questions or comments, which will be reviewed by the committee before any final recommendations are made for SGM voting.

The consultation period closed on 25 March 2022, after which the committee will bring resolutions to an SGM in the Spring for members to vote on.
