Old Alleynian Association Football Club

Founded in 2014 by Josh Lawrence and Ben Precious, the Old Alleynian Association Football Club (OAAFC) is the official football club for Dulwich College leavers. Open exclusively to Old Alleynians, the club has grown year on year in both scale and ambition. It now proudly competes across three senior teams in the Arthurian League, alongside multiple cup competitions.

• 1st XI – Premier Division
• 2nd XI – Division Two
• 3rd XI – Division Three

The season runs from September to April, with matches played on Saturday mornings/early afternoons across London. Weekly training sessions take place on Wednesday evenings (20:00–21:30) at the Charter School 4G in Dulwich.

⚽ On-Field Success

OAAFC continues to grow both competitively and culturally. Recent highlights include:

• The 2nd XI won the double in 2024/25 – Division Two and the Junior League Cup
• The 1st XI finished runners-up in the Premier Division and reached the final of the Arthur Dunn Cup
• The 3rd XI is placing 3rd in Division Three

The club now regularly welcomes over 70 active members, with players aged 18-45 contributing across the three squads.

Several of our 1st XI players also represent the Arthurian League Representative Side, a team comprising the league’s top players. In 2024, the side qualified for the UEFA Regions Cup and travelled to Helsinki, Finland, to represent England in the international tournament - an all-expenses-paid trip supported by The FA.

🌟 In Memory of Josh Lawrence

Josh Lawrence, known to all as JLo, co-founded OAAFC alongside Ben Precious with a dream of building a club that combined competition, camaraderie, and a lasting bond between Dulwich College leavers. His energy, passion, and character shaped the club’s values - and his legacy remains at the heart of what we do.

Following his tragic passing, the club and school community have launched several initiatives in his honour, including:

• A memorial bench and pub wall (at the local Alleyns Head) in his name
• The annual Josh Lawrence Cup tournament bringing together old and current students on the first weekend of January
• The Josh Lawrence Bursary Appeal, supporting DC students who play football and want to take part in overseas tours and life-changing experiences

🏃‍♂️ Pre-Season & Player Pathway

Pre-season runs from late July to the end of August at Dulwich College, open to all OAs - especially recent school leavers. Training sessions are game-focused, inclusive, and friendly, with fixtures scheduled throughout the summer, including an annual small-sided tournament in late August.

🍻 Beyond the Pitch

OAAFC is more than a football club - it’s a community of Old Alleynians staying connected through sport and shared values.

Off the pitch, the club runs:

• Regular socials and international tours (past destinations include Split, Lisbon, Madrid, and Barcelona)
• A formal End of Season Dinner & Awards Night hosted at the College
• Involvement in OA Association events and outreach
• Plans to build an OAAFC careers network for younger alumni through the club
