Rhythm and pastries

Our first ever Breakfast Beats concert took place this week and was a roaring success. There was a warm, supportive and energetic vibe in the Auditorium as the parents and pupils enjoyed a pastry whilst watching some of our fabulous percussionists showcase their hard work

Supporting nature during DUCKS ECO Week

Between 20 and 24 November, DUCKS along with the other four schools of Dulwich College held an Eco Week, in which pupils, staff and families focused on sustainability through a number of events, and child led initiatives, aimed at encouraging individuals to connect with nature and help lower their impact on the environment.

The Yelcho Room* celebrates its accreditation as a Be Well Hub

The Yelcho Team, a group of Upper School students lead by Francis McCabe (our Mental Health and Wellbeing Prefect), the College’s Senior Management Team, and Old Alleynians celebrated the Yelcho Room’s accreditation as a Be Well Hub together with guests Evelyn Akoto (Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, Southwark Council), Peter Brierley (Assistant Director, Citizen UK), Abi Robertson (Social Mobility & Widening Participation Partnerships Manager, King’s College London), Dr Irene Sclare (Consultant Clinical Psychologist and DISCOVER programme lead, SLaM NHS), and Jessica Penhallow (Programme Manager, CAMHS Digital Lab, SLaM NHS).

The Winter Concert 2023

The College’s Winter Concert 2023 was held in the Cadogan Hall on Monday 20 November. Some 270 pupils were involved in performances of an eclectic programme drawing on a diverse range of music styles including works by David Childs, Marcello, Guy Woolfenden and Brahms.
