The first Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) Bronze expedition of the year took place in the Ashdown Forest, with 30 pupils setting out to complete this important milestone in their DofE journey. 

The College community from Ducks to Year 13 came together in March to donate Easter eggs to Spring Community Hub, a charity that supports people experiencing “food insecurity” in the London Borough of Southwark.

At DUCKS, one of our core aims is to provide rich opportunities for our pupils to explore a wide range of learning environments, both indoors and outdoors, helping them grow in confidence and curiosity. This term, that aim came to life through a variety of local trips and hands‑on experiences, including a memorable visit to the Dulwich Picture Gallery.

Over 160 racers from 20 different schools made their way to the Herne Hill Velodrome for this year’s Inter-Schools Cycling Championship.  

The U18 Water Polo team delivered an outstanding series of performances, culminating in a historic victory at the Schools’ Water Polo League Final at QE Barnet.

Nine pupils from the Lower School represented the College in the closely fought Southeast London regional heat of the Senior National Reading Champions Quiz 2026, spending an enjoyable morning testing their knowledge of books and authors against teams from 13 other schools.

Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their recent trip to the Outdoor Centre in Wales , an experience filled with fantastic adventure, much laughter, and lasting memories. Whilst the Welsh weather in March can often be unpredictable, we were fortunate; all three Year 6 Forms enjoyed stretches of sunshine and bright blue skies across much of the week.

Several students from the Dulwich College Remote Control Club recently put on an exciting, interactive workshop for Year 1 students at DUCKS. This workshop was part of the Year 1s’ Science lessons on flight. 

12 boys from Years 10-12 spent a weekend in March participating in the London Youth Model UN conference. This is one of the UK's biggest and best Model UN conferences, hosted at the London School of Economics by undergraduates and attended by over 400 pupils from across the UK. 

The LISBA season came to a close in March this year, with Dulwich College hosting all four playoff tournaments. The London Independent Schools Basketball Association (LISBA) is the long-established basketball competition for independent schools in London and the surrounding region. 

The EPAS team at Dulwich College consists of Senior School teachers, Mr Harrington and Mr Poynton, as well as the Head of Upper School, Colm O’Siochru.

In March, the Brass Department of the College hosted five members of the London Symphony Orchestra (Brass section) for a series of workshops, rehearsals and masterclasses. We were also joined by brass students from St James the Great RC Primary School in Peckham.
