On Tuesday 6 October, Year 12 students at Dulwich College chose from a range of stimulating seminars, covering topics as disparate as quantum physics, the geopolitics of energy chokepoints, the philosophy of the absurd, and developments in immunotherapy. Nearly all the seminars were delivered by former students at the College, with some long established in careers in academia or elsewhere and others still students.

The Dulwich College Junior School was delighted to welcome the author Chloe Dalton this week, to speak about her book Raising Hare, the true story of how she rescued a newborn leveret and brought her up in her cottage. It’s a charming and moving story of how the hare and Chloe got to know each other until the time came for the hare to return to the wild, with unexpected consequences.

Revelling in the glorious acoustic of the Norman building, the Choir enjoyed singing Alec Roth's setting of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis along with Cashmore's Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence and Kenneth Leighton's gritty responses. The service was made extra special as composer Alec Roth was in the congregation and the boys enjoyed talking with him after the service about his music. 

Dulwich College was proud to host 32 teams for the annual U10 football tournament, played in front of the impressive Barry Buildings.

There was great spirit and sportsmanship, as well as enthusiasm from the 300+ pupils across a range of local prep and primary schools.

Having won the 21-match block fixture against Bedford by 15 games to 6, Dulwich College has proudly retained the Sharp-Beasley Cup, a testament to the hard work, commitment and attitude demonstrated across the rugby programme.

Year 3 welcomed pupils from Sydenham & Dulwich Girls School for an exciting morning of team-building activities, providing another opportunity for the two schools to come together, learn alongside one another and build new friendships.

The annual Year 9 team building morning was a tremendous success, bringing together all 230 students across the eight Houses.

In what was a morning full of energy, laughter, challenge and, most importantly, a wonderful sense of community, students threw themselves enthusiastically into a fantastic range of activities designed to test their teamwork, communication, resilience and sense of fun.

Smooth grooves for a beautiful autumn evening were provided by one of the College’s small jazz ensembles in the first of this year's ‘Jazz at the Crown and Greyhound’ series. 

The U13 rugby team travelled to Bristol for their first rugby tour and after a long journey, it was fantastic to kick-start the weekend with a squad training session overlooking Clifton at sunset.
