The festive season at DUCKS has been filled with music, laughter, and memorable performances, as children across the Kindergarten and Infant School embraced the spirit of end of year celebrations.

Students from Year 10 and above were treated to an exceptional evening of insight and inspiration as Zahaan Bharmal visited Dulwich College for a special interview led by Physics teacher Miss Makaylee Hinds.

Recently there was an especially heart-warming occasion in the Junior School, as the Year 5 boys welcomed residents from local care homes to a Christmas Tea Party in the Old Library.

The annual Boarders’ Christmas Supper is one of the standout events of the year when the entire boarding community comes together. It also provides an opportunity to thank all the Dulwich College staff who care so devotedly for the boarders. 

Drama and music pulled out all the stops for the exuberant staging of the musical, Little Shop of Horrors. The cast from both Dulwich College and James Allen’s Girls’ School were brilliant. It was fantastic to see not only the collaboration between the students, but also the progress made in such a short space of time.

TheStore was buzzing during Collective,this year’s Year 11 Art exhibition - the fourth in our series of exhibitions this term. 

Year 6 enjoyed a fascinating visit from Alan Lightman, famed author and physicist, who spoke to the boys about the human condition in the age of AI and rapidly advancing technology.

As part of Eco Week, Year 8 students from Dulwich College and JAGS came together to ‘Think Differently’ - the underpinning theme of this year’s Eco Week activities.

Recently our Year 6 pupils participated in the Southwark Junior Citizenship Scheme, which consisted of a series of workshops designed to teach the boys how to make responsible choices, recognise risk and respond safely in different real-life situations.

We are delighted to share that three of our young artists have been shortlisted for this year’s Sovereign Students Art Prize for London. The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) Students Prizes recognise outstanding secondary-school artists and celebrate the vital role of art within education.

Our cohort of fourteen Year 12 students spent an eye-opening day with Thames Water in East London.

At Dulwich College, we offer a wide range of mentoring opportunities through our community partnerships programme. Mentoring plays a vital role in helping our students develop leadership, communication, empathy, and organisational skills, while also fostering confidence and a sense of social responsibility.
