Under 13s Water Polo Team Reach National Final

After an unbeaten run into the tournament, the boys were excited to finally reach the finals and see what they could do. In the group stages, they won 4–3 against Eltham and 4–2 against Manchester to top the group.

This meant they faced Habs in the semi-final and, once again, the boys delivered an impressive performance, keeping a clean sheet to win 4–0. This set up a gold medal final against one of the strongest girls’ teams, Bolton Girls' School. The boys gave everything and tried to disrupt their play and bring home the gold medal, but on this occasion, it was not to be, with the score ending 5-0 to Bolton Girls' School.

While the boys did not quite have enough to secure the national title, they did win a silver medal and can proudly say that they are the best U13 boys’ water polo team in the country. An incredible achievement!

Tracy Palmer and Mario Calero, their water polo coaches, said that "the boys were exceptional throughout, we couldn't be prouder of them and the way they represented the College in Northampton."
