Junior School welcomes author Rachel Morrisroe for final visit of the year

Junior School pupils were delighted to welcome children’s author Rachel Morrisroe for the eighth and final author visit of the academic year. 

Rachel introduced her new book, Felix and the Future Agency, the first in an exciting new series. The story follows Felix, a boy who can see both good and bad events in the future, who is taken to a secret underground government agency dedicated to predicting what lies ahead. Full of twists and unexpected turns, the book has already captured pupils’ imaginations. 

The visit was met with great enthusiasm. Pupils described the book as “even better than Skandar”, said Christian (Year 4), and “so original”, added Richard (Year 6), reflecting the excitement it has generated among young readers. The Junior School was also pleased to welcome Year 5 pupils from Dulwich Wood Primary School to join the event. 

Books were signed, books were bought, and the Junior School library has been full of boys, noses deep in their new books.
