Author Ben Lyttleton visits the Junior School with his book SCORE LIKE A STRIKER!

On 2 July for our 9^th and final Junior School author visit of the year – we welcomed the amazing football pundit, coach and scout Ben Lyttleton to the Junior School. It was the day of the launch of the Women’s Euros. What a visit – he had the crowd (the children) cheering G-O-A-L for as long as they possibly could! He talked about how important reading is for children as well tips and hints about how to be the best possible striker you could be and how practice is the most important way to improve. He had amazing stories of scouting now famous footballers.

We were thrilled to welcome Dulwich Wood Year 3 children and Ben invited both girls and boys for quizzes and some goal scoring – to much applause. A perfect end of year treat for all the children!
