Art

We love the creativity coming from home although we miss seeing everyone’s faces in class - experimenting, making a mess, making mistakes, having those ‘wow’ moments and inspiring us. Whether photography, portrait drawings, collage imagery, digital sketchbooks or animation, we have been very impressed by the art being produced by Alleynians in lockdown. Rainbows Re-imagined

Consciously or unconsciously we make positive associations with rainbows throughout our lives and never more so than at this moment in time. At the beginning of term we made a short film with our pupils in the Junior and Senior Schools whose parents are NHS and critical workers,  taking the iconic rainbow on a process of re-imagining, deconstructing and reconstructing.

We also engaged with Alleynians at home - from our youngest in DUCKS and the Junior School to those in the Senior School, encouraging them to reimagine rainbows. We are delighted to share their work.
