Year 2 had a colourful adventure at The Colour Palace. The autumn sun shone enabling us to see the colourful 10 metre high cube, with its bold geometric patterns, standing on four huge red cylinders in its full glory. We walked underneath the atrium and through the upper floor of changing colours. After, just like real architects and artists, we sketched amazing, observational drawings of the structure, carefully perceiving the symmetry, curves and right angles. Then, we spoke about the juxtaposition of the palace next to the old college buildings, before walking briskly back to school.
