Several students from the Dulwich College Remote Control Club recently put on an exciting, interactive workshop for Year 1 students at DUCKS. This workshop was part of the Year 1s’ Science lessons on flight.
Inside the classroom, Year 13 student Morgan G led a presentation on aerodynamics that culminated in students making their own gliders. Outside the classroom, Alex P, another Year 13 student, taught students how to fly and operate a DJI camera drone.
The event ended with an aerobatic display, pushing a quadcopter and fixed wing aircraft to their absolute limits of speed and precision.
The Year 1s thoroughly enjoyed the session, leaving inspired and eager to learn more about drones and aircrafts!
