Inaugural TEDxDulwich College Youth Event

Inaugural TEDxDulwich College Youth Event

The inaugural TEDxDulwich College Youth event, envisioned, organised and hosted by Year 12 students Aidan and Daniel, was a great success!

Eight student speakers (Raphael, Ilyas, Vikram, James, Thomas, Mario, Adria and Dan) delivered talks exploring both physical and metaphorical interpretations of the theme ‘Bridges’. Around 100 people from the College community were present at the event, including staff members, pupils, parents and grandparents.

We were also pleased to welcome back four Old Alleynians - Titus Hopkins, Dr Sam Geall, Dr Jamie Scott and Janaum Rao - who returned to the College to share their reflections on the theme and offer their support to the students. Their contributions highlighted the strength of the Dulwich community across different generations.

The Master praised the entrepreneurial spirit of the event and noted how it epitomises the College's “culture of intellectual thinking and good learning”.
