High Commissioner of India Visits Dulwich College's Archive to View P. G. Wodehouse Collection

High Commissioner of India Visits Dulwich College's Archive to View P. G. Wodehouse Collection

Last Friday Dulwich College archive was delighted to welcome His Excellency Mr. Vikram K. Doraiswami, High Commissioner for India, to view our P.G.Wodehouse collection. He has recently become a patron of the P.G.Wodehouse Society and has been a lifelong fan of the Old Alleynian.

While in the archive Mr Doraiswami expressed his interest in Shakespeare and was able to view the College's First Folio (pictured). He told members of the archive team that India's examination boards require students to study two Shakespeare texts and he hoped his visit would lead to connections between the College and institutions in India.

The High Commissioner generously donated a range of books about India to mark his visit.
