Minimum attendance at the Kindergarten is three sessions per week. Minimum attendance in the Baby Room is three days per week.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £1850 is payable on acceptance of a place at the College which will be retained in full until the pupil leaves, when it will be refunded less any balance owing to the College. If the pupil is withdrawn after acceptance, deposits are not refundable.
Payment of Fees
Fees are payable by Direct Debit, in full on the day before the first day of term. Parents who pay fees after the due date will incur a 1% surcharge billed one term in arrears.
The College will also accept bank transfer directly to the fees bank account in full no later than the day before the first day of each term. There is also a facility with School Fee Plan (a credit provider regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority) to enable direct debit payment by monthly instalment.
The fee for a child attending DUCKS for any part of a term must be paid for the whole of that term. The withdrawal of a child requires one full term’s notice given in writing to the Head of DUCKS, or one full term’s fees in lieu.
The College reserves the right to suspend a child while fees remain unpaid, by giving the parents not less than 2 days’ written notice.
Parents who have paid fees late may be asked to pay one term's fees as an additional deposit. If necessary the College will instruct solicitors to recover unpaid fees with interest and all costs incurred will be recoverable in full.
All Infants’ School pupils are included in a Personal Accident Insurance Scheme which offers cover for permanent disability resulting from an accident. This includes dental injury and emergency dental treatment. In addition parents can opt-in to a Pupils’ Absence Insurance Scheme (at their own expense) to cover absence through personal illness or injury. Full details of both schemes will be supplied on entry or are available at any time from the Fees Administrator feesadministrator@dulwich.org.uk.
Childcare Vouchers
Childcare vouchers can be used to pay for childcare at DUCKS for all pre-reception classes and for before school care and Beyond the Classroom activities. We accept vouchers from many scheme providers including: Care-4, Computershare, Edenred, Fair Care, Kiddivouchers, Sodexo and Virtual.
