Age 3 to 6 entry
DUCKS is an independent Kindergarten and Infants school. Our waiting lists do become full very quickly and parents are, therefore, advised to register for a prospective place as early as possible.
In the infants school, we welcome children into our Nursery (3+), Reception (4+), Year 1 and Year 2 classes.
We do have a number of occasional places for each of these entry points.
Please contact Mrs Emma Millet, Infants' School Registrar, email@example.com to register your interest.
Parents wishing to register on a Kindergarten list will be invited to an Open Morning which are held by appointment on Wednesdays at 9.30am. Parents wishing to register on the Infants’ School waiting lists will be invited to an Open Morning held on a Saturday during the Michaelmas and Summer terms.
To request further information about entry or to book a visit please telephone 020 8693 1538 or email:
Mrs Emma Millett
Infants’ School Registrar
Our entry procedure requires that parents visit DUCKS for a tour and a discussion on the entry process before registering. A £100 registration is charged. Please contact Mrs Emma Millet, Registrar for further information firstname.lastname@example.org
Parents will usually be informed if a place becomes available for their child in the spring prior to the Michaelmas term when the child is due to start. Children are required to come for a visit and spend some time in the relevant class before a formal offer is made.
The majority of children in the Infants’ School join us from the Kindergarten, but we do have a small number of places at 3+ and occasional vacancies to join the school in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2. For vacancies in the Infants’ School we invite children to complete a short assessment in order to establish his/her ability and to benefit from and adapt to the learning already established in the class.

Payment of Fees
Fees are payable by Direct Debit, in full on the day before the first day of term. Parents who pay fees after the due date will incur a 1% surcharge billed one term in arrears.
The College will also accept payment by certain Credit/Debit cards in full no later than the day before the first day of each term.
There is also a facility with School Fee Plan (a credit provider regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority) to enable direct debit payment by monthly instalment.
The fee for a child attending DUCKS for any part of a term must be paid for the whole of that term. The withdrawal of a child requires one full term’s notice given in writing to the Head of DUCKS, or one full term’s fees in lieu.
The College reserves the right to suspend a child while fees remain unpaid, by giving the parents not less than 2 days’ written notice.
Parents who have paid fees late may be asked to pay one term's fees as an additional deposit. If necessary the College will instruct solicitors to recover unpaid fees with interest and all costs incurred will be recoverable in full.
All Infants’ School pupils are included in a Personal Accident Insurance Scheme which offers cover for permanent disability resulting from an accident. This includes dental injury and emergency dental treatment. In addition parents can opt-in to a Pupils’ Absence Insurance Scheme (at their own expense) to cover absence through personal illness or injury. Full details of both schemes will be supplied on entry or are available at any time from the Fees Administrator email@example.com.
Childcare vouchers can be used to pay for childcare at DUCKS for all pre-reception classes and for before school care and Beyond the Classroom activities. We accept vouchers from many scheme providers including: Care-4, Computershare, Edenred, Fair Care, Kiddivouchers, Sodexo and Virtual.
