‘Our School Stories’ and ‘Cradle of Writers’ book launch

On Monday 20 May the College was happy to welcome a large audience to the launch of the third and fourth books in its Quatercentenary series. The two books are Cradle of Writers: Mason, Wodehouse, Chandler, Wheatley and Forester by Patrick HUmphries (OA) and Our School Stories: Tales inspired by Dulwich College and P.G. Wodehouse. Excerpts from two stories from the latter book were read by three current students - Harry Wallder, Joshua Cunningham-Barrett and Jack Probert - and Patrick Humphries discussed the five Alleynian authors examined in his book. The audience included current students, members of the teaching staff, Governors, Presidents of the Alleyn Club, and most of the Old Alleynian contributors to Our School Stories.

Both books, as well as the first two books in the series, are available to buy from the Commissariat.
