Inspection Reports

This page details the results of the two most recent inspections undertaken by the Independent Schools Inspectorate’s (ISI): the COMPLIANCE Inspection undertaken in November 2018; and the COMPLIANCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALITY Inspection undertaken in November 2014.

Compliance Inspection

This was a COMPLIANCE ONLY inspection and, as such, it reported only on the school’s compliance with standards, including Boarding.

  • The standards represent minimum requirements and judgements are given as met or as not met. No qualitative judgement was made.
  • This was not an inspection that included EDUCATIONAL QUALITY.

Dulwich College meets the standards in the schedule to the Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014, the National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools 2015 and the associated requirements, and no further action was required as a result of the inspection.

The Quality and Standards of the Early Years Foundation Stage

For the Early Years Foundation Stage both Educational Quality and Standards are inspected. Early Years at DUCKS not only meets the requirements for the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and, in each category inspected, a judgement of ‘outstanding’ was reported.
