Inspection Reports
Compliance Inspection
This was a COMPLIANCE ONLY inspection and, as such, it reported only on the school’s compliance with standards, including Boarding.
- The standards represent minimum requirements and judgements are given as met or as not met. No qualitative judgement was made.
- This was not an inspection that included EDUCATIONAL QUALITY.
Dulwich College meets the standards in the schedule to the Education (Independent School Standards) Regulations 2014, the National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools 2015 and the associated requirements, and no further action was required as a result of the inspection.
The Quality and Standards of the Early Years Foundation Stage
For the Early Years Foundation Stage both Educational Quality and Standards are inspected. Early Years at DUCKS not only meets the requirements for the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and, in each category inspected, a judgement of ‘outstanding’ was reported.
Compliance and Educational Quality Inspection
We are delighted to share the Independent Schools Inspectorate’s (ISI) reports following their visit to Dulwich College, Dulwich College Junior School and DUCKS during November 2014.
The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) is the body approved by the Department for Education for the purpose of inspecting schools belonging to Independent Schools Council (ISC) Associations and reporting on compliance with independent school regulations.
In summary, Dulwich College, Dulwich College Junior School and DUCKS have been awarded ‘Excellent’ in every category, ‘Exceptional’ for 'the quality of pupils’ achievements and learning' for the senior school - the only category for which this grading can be given - and ‘Outstanding’ for the EYFS (Kindergarten, Nursery and Reception).
