Friends of Dulwich College
The Friends of Dulwich College (FDC) was established in 1978 with two key objectives: to bring the College Community together through a number of social events and to raise money for the benefit of the
College, and local charities.
The FDC
- Supports activities and projects designed to enhance the curriculum and further the opportunities available for current and future Alleynians;
- Hosts a number of social events across the academic year with the aim to provide something for everyone. These include a Welcome Morning for new parents, The International Evening, Quiz nights and many informal parent get-togethers;
- Organise social events for boys in the Lower School in conjunction with JAGS;
- Run the College Nearly New Shop;
Get Involved
The FDC is all about teamwork and inclusivity. We encourage all parents to join us, whether they can offer substantial support or just a very occasional helping hand.
The two key fundraising events hosted by Dulwich College and supported by the
FDC are:
- The Christmas Fair
- The Summer Gala
“What a welcome. I’m so glad I attended the FDC Welcome on my son’s first day at Dulwich College”
“The Friend’s Welcome was a brilliant opportunity to meet other new parents. I was able to ask lots of questions many of which other parents were wondering about. I also found a role I could take on to help me feel more involved, I never thought I would do that”
“It’s wonderful to be involved with the Friends. I’ve found a role that fits in with my busy lifestyle.”
