A Celebration of Values, Community and Spirituality – reflections from the Chaplain
With the intention of duplicating important elements of the ‘normal’ school week, my role as College Chaplain is to support the different schools of the College in the preparation and presentation of key weekly assemblies. The hope is that these will encourage and motivate.
Some of our assemblies have been part of a series reflecting on the parables of Jesus in video form (created with the help of a generous videographer friend) and these can be viewed from this page; other assemblies have appreciated the contributions of our own boys who have chosen to share reflections on their stories of spiritual development and social engagement.
It is our intention that all these varied virtual presentations be rich in sentiment that is accessible to all; additionally, it is my hope that those from the Christian faith as well as those from other faiths, or of no religious faith, will feel inspired to find moments of peace in their own lives and to reach out to their own communities – those they are currently living with and those further afield – through acts of compassionate service.
