Schools and High Schools

Established in 2003, our Shanghai campus was the first of our ventures in China. The College now educates more than 1,500 students from age 2 to age 18, with over 40 different nationalities represented in its diverse student body.  Students have matriculated to top universities in the UK and USA – many of them winning scholarships. The success of the venture in Shanghai has catalysed the growth of Dulwich International in the region to six Colleges and two High Schools, to the point that we now have strong and valuable links with Asia.

Founded in 2016, Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi is a 40,000 square metre, purpose-built campus situated in the leafy and green west of Minhang district, and our second College in Shanghai. The school benefits from a brand new, state of the art campus with outstanding facilities, including generously laid out classrooms with natural garden settings for outdoor play and exploration, 2,000 square meter, fully air-filtered triple gymnasium, all-grass football and rugby pitch, 50 m Olympic-sized swimming pool, orchestra room, outdoor ampitheater space, and a 500-seat theatre. Catering to students from age 2 to 18, 2023 sees its first graduating cohort.

Our second school in China began welcoming students in August 2005. Dulwich College Beijing now caters for 1570 students, aged 2-18, of over 30 different nationalities.  The campus provides outstanding facilities, including two sports domes, a sports hall, six tennis courts, a football pitch, a rugby pitch, and Beijing's only cricket pitch. The school building houses the 602–seat Wodehouse Theatre, 300-seat Edward Alleyn Theatre, two Black Box theatres, ICT suite for music production, radio studio, and three libraries with access to over 70,000 resources.  

Dulwich College Suzhou opened its doors in 2007 and is now home to over 1000 students from ages 2 to 18. Often described as ‘the Venice of the East’, Suzhou is situated just 30 minutes from Shanghai by high speed train.  Students enjoy excellent modern facilities. TheSenior School building includes a 700-seat theatre, science laboratories and a suite of music rooms, in addition to the College’s 2000 square meters of playing fields, aquatics centre and 400 metre running track. Dulwich College Suzhou is also the first of our international schools to offer boarding in a brand new facility.

Established in 2010, our Seoul campus was the first international Dulwich College to be opened outside of China. Located in the downtown suburb of Banpo, Seocho, the College has over 700 students originating from 40 countries across 6 continents. The location of the College is unusually central within Seoul, and this has led the architects to design some ingenious features of the school buildings. The campus hosts outdoor play areas, an all-weather sports field, a futsal astro court area, an indoor gymnasium and a 25-metre indoor swimming pool. Facilities also include a 250-seat auditorium, music rooms, science laboratories and a SE21 (STEAM) room.

Opened in 2014, the College boasts a state-of-the-art green campus and an inspiring, enthusiastic body of staff. The College welcomes students aged 2-18 from many nationalities and the rich academic, sports, performing arts and music curriculum are designed to help each individual child reach their potential and make a positive difference in the world. The design of the campus revolves around three main focal points to support the holistic learning philosophy – a green, sustainable urban environment, an open and conducive learning community, and a reflection of shared values of community and culture.

Dulwich International High School Suzhou is an independent co-educational high school for students aged 14-19. Having opened its doors in 2012, there are currently over 750 students. Dulwich International High School Suzhou helps students build a global mindset on the foundation of English mastery so they can thrive in any environment and culture. The school provides both IGCSE and AS/A Level courses, preparing Chinese students between the ages of 14 to 18 for top universities worldwide. Those who have completed their A levels have gone on to study at institutions such as Cambridge, Cornell and Imperial College London.

Similar to the programme in Suzhou, the Zhuhai International High School follows an IGCSE and AS/A Level curriculum to give Chinese students the best preparation for entry into universities overseas. Currently with almost 300 students, the school aims to develop students’ full potential in both academic and co-curricular pursuits, with a special focus on English language acquisition. . The school is accredited with LEED Gold Certification. The (LEED) Gold Certification is a globally recognised seal of approval established by the U.S. Green Building Council awarded to buildings that meet the highest standards of sustainable design, construction, and maintenance.
