On Wednesday 22 November, three of Dulwich College's Chamber Music groups performed a lunchtime concert at Christ's Chapel in Dulwich Village. The concert started with a vivid and thoughtful interpretation of the first movemenet of Mozart's String Quartet in G major, performed by Miles Camilleri, Finlay Johnston, Archie Smith and Mike Humphrey. The Wind Quintet followed (Matthew Yeung, Jay Connor, Nicholas Field, Josh Theaker and Christian Bertrand) with a humorous and energetic performance of Agay's Five Pieces for Wind Quintet, which were highly appreciated by the audience! The concert ended with a polished and beautiful rendition of the first movement of Mozart's Clarinet Quintet, with Max Parfitt, Jude Hine, John Pedersen, Yuki Suter and Lucas Miller. If you missed this excellent concert, you still have a chance to listen to the Mozart String Quintet in the Autumn Concert at the Great Hall on Thursday 23 November and the Mozart Clarinet Quintet in the Winter Concert at St John's Smith Square on Tuesday 28 November. Well done to all these musicians for some well-crafted and communicative playing.
