Mitchell Simmonds

I am the School Captain, having joined Dulwich in Year 7 and am currently studying AS Further Maths, Chemistry and Latin. My aim is to read chemistry at university as well as pursue my interests which include aviation and drama. I run the Aviation Society, attend Chemistry Society and participate in the House Drama and drama productions. I look forward to working on our main aims of improving communication throughout the school, creating more efficient electronic systems for boys and staff as well as improving the overall school experience for all the boys, whilst looking after the boys and prefect body.

Having joined in the College in Year 7, I currently study Maths and Further Maths with Stats, Chemistry, Biology, and French, with a view to reading Medicine at university. I currently enjoy representing the College at rowing, and playing piano and violin in school orchestras. I also enjoy public speaking at Model United Nations, and a wide range of societies, from History to Equality to MedSoc! I look forward to strengthening and promoting our relationship with JAGS and Alleyn's, as well as heading the Green Initiative and Equality Society.

I am one of the deputy school captains and the development office liaison. I have been at Dulwich for the past ten years and am currently studying Theatre studies, Religion and Theology and English literature. My aim is to read English and theatre studies at university as well as pursue my sporting interests including Rugby, swimming and water polo. I participate in the running of a weekly society in the lower school that varies from football to pat-ball society and also take part in house drama and the senior productions. I very much look forward to working alongside the development office and helping with development matters but also representing the school at Old Alleynian events and being an ambassador to the College.

I am charity prefect (having joined Dulwich in year 3) , and study Spanish, French and history. My aim as charity prefect is to raise as much money as possible for the charities of each term, whilst trying to do this in a fun interactive way. My general aim is to become fluent in Spanish and French as well as pursue co-curricular interests such as jazz piano and sports such as rugby and football. I am in the school jazz band and look forward to more gigs both with the jazz band and solo, as well as the rugby season next year.

I am the Community Outreach & Wodehouse Library prefect and am currently studying Biology, Chemistry and Computer science. My aim is to pursue a career in medicine as well as help the members of my community, which I do by volunteering in a school to help children with learning disabilities and take up the role of a peer mentor in the college. I aim to encourage more boys to take up an active role in community service as well as help lead the College in its Green initiative.

I'm the Creative Arts Prefect and I am currently studying Maths, Economics and Chemistry with the aim of reading Economics at university. I also wish to pursue extra-curricular activities such as singing and drama which I am passionate about. I am currently a member of acapella quartet Original Copy and enjoy participating in House Drama and House Music as well, as well as many other concerts and shows. My aims for this year are to write the Leaver's Book, organise the Leaver's Revue, organise concerts and shows across the school and with JAGS and Alleyn’s, increase participation in the creative arts across the school and raise the profile of these events and shows whilst also improving cohesion between the departments so that boys' can experience as much that the College has to offer as possible.

I am an active member of the music department, singing in Chapel Choir, playing the piano and the trumpet. I am also a member of the Athletics team. I plan to apply to read English at University next year, and am particularly looking forward to editing The Alleynian and planning the Leavers' Revue next year.

I'm a member of the creative arts prefect body, specifically overlooking the drama department. I'm currently studying Chemistry, Biology and Music for A level, and hope to study Medicine at university, whilst also maintaining a high standard of music. I partake in multiple musical ensembles, annual theatre productions and sports including 1stXV rugby. My aim is to increase the attendance and participation in musical and theatrical concerts, whilst also forming stronger bonds between the upper and lower years of the school, particularly in the House drama competitions.

My name is Ben Miller and I joined the school in DUCKS. I am the Creative Arts Music Liaison and I am currently studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry and I am planning to read Physics at university. My other interests include music and along with being the leader of the Symphony orchestra I also sing, play viola and bassoon in various other groups and take part in House Music. I also enjoy chess and play rugby for the school. I am hoping to improve how the music department runs and improving the school for everyone.

I am the prefect of DUCKS. I study Maths and Further Maths, Chemistry and Latin at A level which will hopefully lead me to studying natural science at university. I joined the school at year 7. Other than my subjects, my interests are sport which includes rugby (where I represent the 1st XV) tennis, skiing and athletics. As DUCKS prefect, I would like to create more integration with the senior school, encouraging older boys to share their interests or projects that they work on. Aside from this, I would also like to develop a homework system which moves off homework diaries and onto smart phones. And most importantly, work solidly and efficiently with the prefect body in order to improve the Dulwich life.

As the Prefect of International Student Liaison, I will be liaising with the current and prospective international students and actively encouraging their greater involvement within the college. Taking A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, History and Economics, I aspire to read Economics and History at Oxford. I have also been the captain of the basketball team of my respective age group since joining the college in Year 9.

I am the Senior Prefect of the Junior School and am currently studying, Music, Economics and Theatre Studies with an interest in reading Music at university. I am currently a music award holder, a choral scholar and I co lead the Symphony Orchestra as well as enjoying singing in an acapella group called Original Copy. I joined the school at Ducks and I look forward to going back and helping at the Junior School where my journey at the College properly began. My aim is to make the Junior School feel like a part of the rest of the school and help them to become inspired by some of the older boys’ success.

I'm Noah and I'm the Lord George prefect. In this role, I will endeavour to revitalise the Lord George building and its facilities with a focus on improving wellbeing and embracing sustainability. Additionally, I intend to improve upon and diversify the current Ned's menu. I firmly support the philosophy of 'healthy mind in healthy body' and hope to be able to encourage others to share this thinking with a choice of healthy foods in an environment which is conducive to learning and socialising. I'm currently studying Latin, English and Maths; I play water polo, rugby and the trumpet. Joined 2002 - still here and loving it.

I am the Lower School mentoring and Raymond Chandler Library prefect and am currently studying Physics, Spanish, Maths and Further Maths. I would like to do engineering at university and then hopefully have a career in this field as well. In the coming year I want to improve the lower school mentoring system, partially by making it easier for lower school boys to know upper school ones. Also I look forward to being part of the basketball team once again and plan to become captain, as well as taking part in other activities around the school.

I'm the senior prefect of middle school mentoring and sports liaison and I am currently studying Geography, Economics and PE. My aim is to study sports business management at Loughborough university and continue to play cricket, hockey and rugby. I look forward to organising mentors for so many of you to help with everyday life at the college and for watching the majority of students on the sports field.

I am a member of the Prospective Parents and am currently studying English, History and Spanish with the aim of studying Spanish and Arabic (as a Joint Honours) at university. My passions include playing rugby and learning new languages. My aim is to increase the range of number of languages taught at the College and to encourage more students to study languages at A Level/university.

I am a prefect in charge of prospective parent tours. I joined the school in Year 10, and am currently studying for A-levels in maths, further maths, physics, geography and German, and I intend to study engineering at university. My interests are football and cycling. I look forward to representing the boys in my year as well as the school as a whole.

I am one of the Senior Prefects in charge of Prospective Parents' Tours. I joined the college in year 7 and am currently studying Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I aim to study engineering at university and to continue to play sport which is a passion of mine. I coach the long distance running club and play 1st Team basketball, tennis, cross country and athletics for the college. I look forward to my role as a Tours Prefect in addition to getting involved in the Green Initiative in the year ahead.

As Union Secretary, it is my duty to oversee the College's wide range of societies, encourage the development of new ones and organise a variety of events held by the Union every year. My aim is to make pupils more aware of what the Union has to offer for them. I am studying Maths, Further Maths, Physic, Design and Technology and would like to read engineering at university.

I am the Senior Prefect for Pupil Voice and Wellbeing, and am currently studying AS Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Economics. My aim, is to read chemistry at university, as well as to pursue my interests in politics and history. I am a regular attendee of the economics and chemistry societies, as well a volunteer at the school archives. I look forward to improving the pupil voice and school council meetings to better reflect the opinions of boys, as well as assisting with the green initiative in the year ahead.
