Life Beyond Dulwich
Life beyond Dulwich is full of exciting new challenges and opportunities for our boys, and we have a whole range of support, dedicated staff and programmes designed to help and guide students in making the right choices for them once they leave College.
Careers testing with Morrisby Online takes place in Year 10 where career matches based on aptitude skills and interest are suggested. This also helps inform A level choice and degree course research.
Networking events start from Year 11 where boys are given the opportunity to meet leading professionals in their area of interest – recent events have included digital technology, chemical sciences and finance.
Our Year 11 boys also receive 1:1 interviews with careers advisors, and a careers research program is embedded in their Wellbeing lessons.
In the Upper School boys are given detailed, subject specific guidance on the university application process. Parents are also invited in to College at the start of Year 12 to learn about the many options their sons have – from three year BA courses at UK HE institutions, to degree apprenticeships, study at international universities, Gap Years, deferred entry and more. Our overseas universities festival runs in the Michaelmas term and is attended by representatives from Canada, USA, Holland, Australia, Hong Kong and the annual courses and careers convention is held each February. We host 35+ universities top universities from the UK and overseas, as well as over 30 companies and professional institutes.
