Friends of Dulwich College

We are very lucky to have such an active Junior School committee of the Friends of Dulwich College, who do a great deal to enrich the experience of the boys and their families. Recent events have included arranging ‘sports’ parties’ for each year group, a summer BBQ which was attended by over 300 parents and boys, a Quiz night and the ever- popular visit by the ice cream van on the last day of the summer term. There are regular cake sales, held at the end of the school day, and a great deal of money has been raised for good causes. In addition, some of the money raised by the various events during the year is given so that we can buy some ‘extras’ for the boys. This year, for instance, we have bought video cameras and tripods for our own Film-Making Club and a donation was given to the U11 rugby tour. Each class has a ‘class representative’ and they do a terrific job of welcoming new families and providing an informal communications’ network amongst the parent body.
