The conclusion to the Year 6 academic time in the Junior School came to a close last week with the Great Exhibition. The event marked the culmination of what the boys have learnt and their understanding of the world, humanities, service learning, and citizenship.

On Friday 22 March DUCKS Year 2 Football Club had their final fixture of the term with the eagerly awaited match against Year 3 former DUCKS pupils.
On Thursday, some Junior School pupils also took the chance to meet Nick, an Upper School student, who talked about his ADHD learning journey and the support from family, friends and Dulwich College staff he has had along the way.
As the sun shone on Thursday morning, lots of our fabulous percussion players had the chance to shine themselves in this term’s Breakfast Beats concert.
On Wednesday, Year 5 Velodrome Club headed to Herne Hill Velodrome to take part in the Inter Schools Championship.
The Year 4 pupils have just attended the Cadogan Hall for the annual Classical Roadshow. Sloane Square is such a beautiful part of London in which to take the boys, and the Hall itself is a stunning stage for a wonderfully inclusive and warm event.
Year 6 walked to JAGS last week to participate in a morning of collaborative technology and computing. Working in small groups of boys and girls they built Lego robots and used the Mindstorms software to program them.

Wisely and slow… they stumble that run fast’. This sound advice from Friar Laurence to Romeo was not an option for Year 5 this Wednesday as they were tasked with putting on a performance of the famous Shakespeare play from scratch in just 48 hours.
On Tuesday afternoon the Year 3 boys participated in the second co-educational workshop with Sydenham High School around the theme of 'Collaborative Creativity'.
It’s been another happily productive week along the Year 4 corridor, with lots of action both in and out of the classroom. It started fantastically well, with a visit to the Design Museum in Holland Park.
This week, Year 4 headed to Sydenham High School for a morning of P4C (Philosophy for Children) with their girls. The event challenged the children to think deeply about many knotty questions and issues.
This week saw the exciting House Spelling Bee competition - a very special event. The boys completed Round One last week, and following this, a Finalist per House and Year Group was chosen. Finalists competed in an initial round of three spellings each, followed by a tense head-to-head.
On Friday 8 December Year 3 marked a DC Guide Dog Day. The boys learnt about the history of braille and its importance in the visually impaired community.
