On Thursday 2 February, Year 5 enjoyed a trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum as part of their study of William Morris and decorative art. We looked at some original wallpapers, fabrics, tiles and stained glass and listened to an expert tell us how Morris’ workshop achieved such fabulous results when printing their designs. We also headed to the Performance and Theatres section and had great fun identifying costumes and even trying some on for ourselves.
