This morning, with the precision of a military manoeuvre, the whole of the College’s teaching staff and pupils (with the exception of DUCKS) were arranged in neat rows for the taking of the College Photo – an event which happens only rarely.

3D chose the theme of Roald Dahl for their assembly on Wednesday, where they shared the ‘splendiferous’ work they had been doing on adjectives.

Over the last few weeks the new Year 3 boys at Dulwich College have settling in to new challenges both inside and outside the classroom.

Last week, Year 5 visited the Horniman Museum. They were looking for inspiration for the Masks project which will be the focus in their Art lessons this term.

Undeterred by the autumnal weather, the Junior School Gardening Club have been busy tidying and getting ready for winter.

On Wednesday 12 September the entire Junior School took part in their Annual House Team Building Day.

The Junior School welcomed the author Helen Dennis yesterday. Helen has written SECRET BREAKERS – THE POWER OF THREE – a gripping thriller set at Bletchley Park Mansion.

On Friday 15 June the Junior School held The Big Big Olympic Breakfast and Book Swap for the charity Kid’s Company, as part of our Olympic Day.

Today saw the annual ‘Top of the Form’ competition between teams of Year 5 and 6 pupils from JAPS, Alleyn’s and Dulwich College.

As part of their Science work on Keeping Warm, Year 4 investigated thermal insulators and designed their own cool boxes (the cooler the better!).

Year 4 visited the British Museum as part of their Humanities work on Ancient Egypt.

Congratulations to all the boys who performed in the Junior Strings Festival on Monday 11 June. This was our second ever Junior Strings Festival and 32 boys took part, playing violin, viola, cello, double bass and guitar.

On Wednesday and Thursday, 30 and 31 May, our swashbuckling Year 6 boys performed Treasure Island to a full house of parents, staff and guests.

The boys of 5B recently enjoyed an adventurous and fun-filled few days at the Field Centre in Wales.

Members of the Year 3 club have been busy planting, weeding, watering and even harvesting their own produce.

On Friday 23 March the entire Junior School got on its running kit and ran a mile for 'Save the Children'.

On Tuesday 20 March, our Year 5 cohort was treated to an interactive Aztec experience, courtesy of Mexicolore’s inaugural visit to the Junior School.
