  • Year 5 Wimbledon trip

    On Wednesday 16 November, Year 5 enjoyed a fabulous trip to the Wimbledon All England Lawn Tennis Club to find out about the history of the club and its surrounding area, as well as investigating Victorian pastimes.

  • Year 6 Imperial War Museum Visit

    As part of their History studies into the Second World War, Year 6 visited the Imperial War Museum yesterday. As well as viewing the huge number of artefacts in the WWII gallery the boys were able to get up close to tanks, guns and other vehicles used in war throughout the ages.

  • U11 Rugby Tour 2011, Bristol October 2011

    The annual U11 rugby tour took place over half term with 14 boys from Year 6 heading down to Bristol along with Mr Quilter and Mr Goodrich. The three day tour was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

    On Wednesday, 12 October the Year 3 boys came to school dressed as Athenian citizens. The boys pretended it was the year 490BC and that they were in the agora in Athens awaiting the news of the progression of the Persian army.

    A level results 2011 Boys at the College achieved their best ever results this summer, with 91.6% of grades at A*, A or B. 70.8% of grades were A or A*, and 25.8% were graded A*. Half the boys in the year group achieved 3 A grades or better.

    Following the staging of a new version Godber’s Teechers by Ned’s Company in November 2010, Teechers transferred to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer in a Young Pleasance production for a two-week run from mid-August at one of the Fringe’s most high profile and prestigious venues.
