Dulwich Creative Weeks

The Junior School joins the whole College Free Learning Dulwich Creative weeks each Michaelmas term to inspire the boys beyond the curriculum.

During the inaugural Dulwich Creative week the Art and Music departments hijacked the school. All the boys and staff stopped working at one point and drew their neighbour. The Music department visited and started singing, taking boys with them around the corridors singing a four-part round they had learnt. Other visits have included a graffiti artist and gallery tours. During Dulwich Inventive the Science department hijacked the school with experiments and inspiration. Dulwich Linguistic had a new language spoken and learnt about each day, as well as events like watching a fencing lesson conducted in Italian. More recently we have had ‘Dulwich Political’ in which there were daily debates, votes and soap-boxing all across the College.
