Three Music Scholars in the News

At the recent Oundle International Music Festival Organ Course James Orford won prizes to give Organ Recitals at St Michael's, Cornhill and Hereford Cathedral. James will give the recitals during Easter 2013, the dates are still to be confirmed. Both David Young, Violin and Ho Ting Chan, Bassoon played in the National Youth Orchestra at its recent televised BBC Prom concert on August 5. The programme of music consisted of a stunning performance of Messiaen’s Turangalila Symphony which was conducted by the internationally acclaimed Vasily Petrenko.
