This year’s Gold DofE expedition to the Vercors Plateau in the French Alps in July was a great success. They had clear weather and the carpets of wild flowers were exceptional this year due to the continued rain earlier. The boys were fantastic: responsible and reliable. They worked well together in their teams and found their routes easily. The Assessor, Jacques Moore-Hurley, was very impressed by their expertise and commended the level of training they demonstrated.
