This was a fantastic week of cricket at Dulwich College. We had wins for U13, 15, 17 in all of their respective cup competitions.
The 1st XI returned to winning ways, beating Harrow by 54 runs scoring 324 with Anthony Alleyne 145 and Akil Greenidge 50. The U14 As also won comfortably by 95 runs with Richard De Rome striking the ball sweetly.
There were really exciting games for the U14 Bs losing by 1 run in the final over Will Johnson 57 and U14 Ds by 1 run with 2 balls to go, James Vineberg scoring 87. For the 3rds Freddy Eastwell scored an excellent 85, whilst Ali Neden scored 57 for the U16s.
For the U13s and U12s there were very convincing performances. The U12s on Friday had three great wins against Trinity, with the Ds hitting the last ball of the game for 4 to win, well done Connor McIvor, in the A team win Wright’s 3-17 included a hat trick.
On Saturday the U13 As and Cs won well with the Bs winning a tighter game against Bickley Park 1sts, Adam Beese 60 out of 145 in their 10 run win.
The U12 As kept their winning run going by 160 runs. Jake Scarisbrick was the hero here scoring his first 100 off just 12 overs. For the U11s Harry Chathli 52 not out and Jake Fetherston 51 not out were the main run scorers in their 36 run win over Collet Court.
We owe a huge thanks to the groundstaff for some truly outstanding wickets (over 600 runs in the 1st XI match on Saturday).
Dulwich College Cricketers of the week: Jake Scarisbrick for his maiden 100 and Anthony Alleyne for a magnificent 145 against Harrow to return the 1st XI to winning ways.
