Dulwich College 15 Hampton School 12
In front of a substantial midweek crowd on Pitch 1, the First XV continued their highly successful season with a narrow victory over Hampton School in the Daily Mail Cup. The 15-12 score line was an indication of a game where both teams defended magnificently. Indeed, there were no tries scored and all points came from accurate and consistent kicking following penalties. In the end an exhausted Dulwich team watched hopefully as Dominic Fraser kicked the decisive winning penalty in the last minutes from wide on the right hand side of the field. The team now travel away to Abingdon for the Quarter Final which is to be played on Wednesday 1 February.
