Lewis Lloyd led our A team in the 59th annual Haskell Cup, a cross country relay race with teams of four runners each completing a 1.75 mile leg on Merrow Downs, Guildford. The benchmark set by the organisers is a fastest lap of less than 11 minutes and Lewis was the deserving winner of the Fastest Lap medal with a time of 9 minutes 57 seconds. This also represents a course record in a long-established event and I am sure that as the season progresses there will be further achievements by this talented athlete to report.
