Lunchtime Concert in the Chapel

Twenty-four of the College’s brass players performed at last Wednesday’s Lunchtime Concert. The concert was diverse in style and began with a stunning performance of Britten’s Fanfare from St. Edmundsbury played by Toby Wells, Ed Vineall and Tomek Edwards. The programme continued with music from Mr Down’s Trumpet Ensemble, the Brass Quintet and Trumpet Quartet - Hal Smith gave a fine solo performance of Hummel’s Noble Savage. The large audience was sent on their way with the exciting arrangement of Dave Brubeck’s Take Five performed by the College Brass Consort.
