Thai yoga massage is a powerful and dynamic form of massage that has its origins in India from around the time of the Buddha, over 2,000 years ago. It is founded on the ideas of working with the body’s “sen”, or energy pathways, and combines acupressure, energy balancing, stretching and applied yoga exercises. Each session lasts for 90-minutes.
The practitioner works intensively with the recipient – lying full clothed on a mat - to re-balance their body and spirit, This brings about a sense of well-being and relaxation, and helps to ease all kinds of complaints. These can include headaches, asthma, constipation and frozen shoulder.
