The use of massage has been used for many years for the treatment of musculoskeletal problems and has benefited sports and non-sports people alike.
 
With a range of techniques, including deep tissue massage and stretching, Sports Massage can help break down the build up of tension in the body which can improve the suppleness and flexibility of muscles and joints, enhanced sports performance and promote relaxation.
 
Sports Massage is equally effective for people who have occupations that require them to be in static positions for long periods of time such as office work or driving and as a result have a build up of tension in the body.

Mark has been treating at the Dulwich College Sports Club since spring 2006.

Sports injuries, whether acute or chronic, can benefit from massage. It is an effective therapy for releasing muscle tension and restoring balance to the musculo-skeletal system. This means that, when received regularly, sports massage can help with prevention of injury, particularly when caused by overuse. Performance can then be increased, along with strength, stamina and speed.
