22/12/2011 - Petty Thefts
The local police have advised us that there has been an increase in petty thefts in the area.
They advise vigilance and to ensure your personal property is secure at all times.
Following two recent incidents of bicycle theft cyclists are strongly advised to use a substantial cycle lock which cannot be quickly removed using bolt croppers.
Thank you for your cooperation.
The new car park barrier will be activated as of 17:00 this Friday 23rd September 2011.
It will be closed from 17:00-06:00 weekdays and all weekend.
As you are already aware parking space for members is provided on the College main site accessed via the South Circular road.
If the gate is closed your membership card will open it.
From the main car park follow walk through by the clock tower, out of the College Road pedestrian gate and across the zebra crossing.
The route will be well lit after dark.
The College Road gate is activated using the button on the black post 10 metres inside the gate to your left.
Heading back to your vehicle the gate is opened by using your membership swipe card.
Please wait for the gate to open and do not push it.
Please note that this Sunday 25th September there is a Farmer’s Market on the main College site so member’s parking will be accessed via the large gates on College Road near the zebra crossing for this day only.
Thank you for your cooperation as always.
