Members & their guests are invited to join the Badminton Club Night which takes place in the Sports Hall every Monday evening from 19:30-22:00. The session is coordinated by Gary Davey who makes sure that everyone is welcome and gets a good game. There is no charge for members and guests are £8 (or use your complimentary guest vouchers).
Two new mix sessions have been added which are open to members (free) and non-members:
Thursday 6-8pm – 2 courts: All welcome, non-members £5 (Starts 1st November 2012)
Sunday 9-12am – 4 courts: All welcome, non-members £5
These sessions are run as part of the Badminton England "No Strings Badminton" programme and a coordinator will be present.
Members wishing to play private Badminton matches may book courts at weekends either via Reception or via Online Booking. There is no court fee for this unless you fail to cancel an unwanted booking or collect an attendance ticket in which case there will be a no-show penalty fee. Members can also use any free court at any time although availability is limited.
A Badminton Coaching session for children aged 7-16 runs on Thursdays from 6-7pm during term-time. Details can be found on the Sports Courses page.
