On Friday 4 November, Nursery and Reception children at DUCKS started their Diwali celebrations with a special assembly. Three Reception parents, Mrs Malik, Mrs Singh and Mrs Jayaram, not only presented the assembly, but decorated the hall and provided all the clothes for the children and staff. The story of Rama and Sita was read and the children were told how Hindus all over the world celebrate Diwali. This was followed by a party in the afternoon with party poppers, dancing and board games.
